Pintoli`s Italian Cafe in Satsuma

I've been going here for many years and I have yet to find better alfredo sauce anywhere else. The atmosphere is amazing and the service is always great. My husband and I moved out of the area a few years ago, but every time we come back into town, we stop at Pintoli's.

This use to be one of my favorite places to go, it is close to the house and I believe whole heartedly in supporting local businesses but Pintolis has left a lot to be desired and if something doesn't change fast it will be another vacant building in Satsuma. I have eaten here since high school when it was nothing more than three tables and pizza (era 99) and I do believe that I will probably not be back. I wish them the best and hope they fix the problems. Several minutes to be greeted with 3 employees at the door; 12 minutes after being seated and NO ONE came to our table. 2 other tables were seated and drink orders were taken and returned, sad excuse for trying to better your business and stay open. We left there tonight and went to Burger King in Saraland......

Egg plant parmesan is 5 stars and you probably can not eat it all

Is this place even still open for business??? I've called them 4 times over the past 45 minutes to place a delivery order, (the menu states they deliver), and no answer either time, but after reading the reviews on here about the service it all kinda makes sense now. I guess they don't want my money... I'll bet Pizza Hut won't mind answering the phone

The food was really good, I ordered a Stromboli and it was delicious, but I didn't like how I was treated, the server took a long time to get our order and when we got the food, there were no silverware on our table, after asking for it we were brought plastic forks and knives....

Very courteous, sexy looking pizzas, GREAT STAFF, good beer, friendly service, food ready in a timely manner.....AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!

My son and I have come here a few times. The food has always been delicious with generous portions. Good spot for lunch.

Always come here at least once when in town. Love their eggplant parmigiano. It is so flavorful and filling at a great price. They have really good coffee too.

This is a amazing little place to have dinner. Great food and great pizza!

Nice meal. Bread, salad and shrimp pasta was excellent.

Wonderful atmosphere and excellent service but disappointing food. Cesar salad was generous, large amount of grated Parmesan but the dressing lacks flavor. The complimentary breadsticks were great, the slice of pizza not so much. Dried on top while the crust was underdone and doughy. The chicken Parmesan was soggy, pasta overdone and the red sauce watery. We are very disappointed, would have rated lower but again, the service was excellent.

We have eaten here several times, with varying degrees of.quality. Tonight has sealed their fate. The food is better (and cheaper) from Dominos! The chicken fingers they offer are the same ones Walmart sells. Lastly, the service was terrible! And- top it all off with a screwed up order! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We waited an hour for pizza and a calzone. Then they ran out of sweet tea.

Food was great. Service was good. Atmosphere was not so good. But the food made up for it.

I had the sampler. The chicken parmigiana was loaded with tomato sauce and not crispy. Walmart has better lasagna.tasted like a bean burrito from taco bell with red sauce but not as crispy

Service kinda crappy. We ordered grilled chicken salad, it came out with no chicken. Food was just OK.

Bread sticks are greatBut food, its what Americans think Italian food should be.Tons of canned tomato sauce (Prego or Ragu) and Basil,to a point were flavor disappears.Everything tastes same no matter what you order

We absolutely loved this place, after a long day we decided to go get dinner from here. They closed at 9 we arrived at 7, we literally waited to be seated for over 15 minutes, three times a server made eye contact with us even came up to the bar right where we were standing and never even acknowledged us. It broke my heart even though the food is amazing the service was terrible

The good is delicious and it is nice quiet place to eat. Good for families or even romantic dates since they have small private dining rooms

I visited today for a co-worker and myself (against my better judgement) and I must say that my better judgement was correct. I ordered a club sandwich...... not good at all. My co-worker ordered Alfredo Fettuccine. He was not satisfied either. Too much sauce and the chicken he paid extra for, was rubbery. 2 stars because the Hostess was fairly nice. 1 star for the food.

We were surprised to be one of very few people at prime hours on a Saturday, but decided to give Pintoli's a try. The waitress was nice and helped us decide on lasagna to share. We also ordered spinach artichoke dip. While we waited we were served a basket of overdone bread sticks. When our dip was served we were given another basket along with an apology about the others. We didn't like the dip at all. The lasagna was probably quite good, but we had a hard time figuring out where it was because there was so much sauce. I normally like more sauce than most, and the sauce was really good, but we really wanted lasagna and didn't get that experience. My other big complaint is that the restaurant was freezing. My husband had to go back to the car and get his heavy coat - no fun having to be bundled up while eating.

Decent food but they have either made major changes to their menu or are now under new ownership. Its not nearly as good as on years past.

Had lunch there today, 3/16/16. My co-workers and I were greeted with an excuse of why it took so long to get waited on and it was because of a party of 20 in the other room. While we were there another unexpected large party showed up. Needless to say, those were the ones that received top service while the rest of the restaurant guests suffered from it. My fish of chicken Alfredo was boiled chicken, not grilled, and the sauce was watered down. The dish was barely warm. When I complained upon checking out, I was told there was nothing they could do. Really? The least they could have done was offer to discount my lunch. Terrible to say the least and terrible customer satisfaction.

Update Sept. 29 2012Service was great as usual. Spaghetti with meatballs was excellent. Learning to ignore the classic rock.Update Mar 31 Decided to give them another go. Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and was very pleased. Service was still great but the music was still annoying. 2/3 is a good improvement. Original review from jan 17 The service was outstanding. Our server Jamie was polite and cheerful. Unfortunately the food was just passable. My meal came out room temperature. The alfredo sauce was like glue. The highlight of my meal was the meatball which I ordered on the side, absolutely delicious. At $50+ for 3 people the cost was standard. I enjoy classic rock now and then but its not what I expect to hear playing in an Italian restaurant.

I had to give them one star because the food would have been good had it not gotten cold before it was brought out. Service was awful and the wait time was unrealistic compared to how busy they were. Waitresses were rude and inexperienced.

The shrimp and bacon pasta was incredible and the crawfish pasta was good. I wish I saved money by not getting the cheese garlic bread sticks since the plain garlic bread is free 😧 I live and I learn. All at a very reasonable price. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there was a urinal screen in the sink... and that's nasty.

Pintoli's used to be one of our favorite places to eat Lately, the quality of food has gone down and no one will answer the phone for a carry-out order. Time to fine another restaurant.

An amazing Italian bistro always excellent food and one if the best muffaletta sandwiches EVER!

The Antipasto Salad is fantastic, pizza comes in a close second with a thin crust and a good selection of sauce and toppings. Sit down with a nice glass of wine, or take a stab at the craft beer on tap.

Anyone in Mobile should give it a chance. Food is reasonable priced. Service is spot on and the date room in the back is a nice touch for setting a mood.

Disappointing. We’ve been going there for seven years and they have hit rock bottom. Seated for fifteen minutes before the hostess came over to see us leaving. Dismal ambiance and ambivalent staff. We will not be returning.

Last year I ate here many times and loved it. Recently I returned to have a goodmeal unfortunately that didn't happen.They have remodeled the restaurant and apparently the food suffered in the process. i will reluctantly give them onemore chance.

This place is a hidden gem! Wonderful food, large portions, for excellent prices!

The crawfish pasta was amazing and the kids loved the pizza and chicken tenders

I was in town doing some work in the steel mills. Ordered 3 large supreme pizzas to take to the customer and they were Great!
